Mum was born in Gosport on 19.11.1935.

She lived her whole life in Gosport, going to school, living and surviving the Second World War, starting work, meeting Dad in Gosport in later life and marrying in St Mary’s Church in Alverstoke.

I recall her talking about the D-Day landings at Stokes Bay. She loved the history of Gosport.

Mum loved sailing in her teenage years, and had met great friends, many of whom remained friends over her lifetime.
